Through our Special Interest Groups, technical committees, webinars, publications, and conferences, we facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across marine engineering, science, technology and policy. As a recognised international non-governmental organisation with consultative and observer status at a number of intergovernmental organisations, including the International Maritime Organization (IMO), IMarEST helps ensure that independent technical expertise informs global maritime policy and decision-making.
