The Tron SART20 is a robust and compact 9 GHz search and rescue radar transponder designed for use in lifeboats and liferafts.
When activated, the Tron SART20 responds to X-band radar signals, helping nearby ships, search and rescue vessels and aircraft locate people in distress. Its position is clearly indicated on compatible X-band radar displays, supporting fast and effective search and rescue operations.
Designed for reliable performance in demanding maritime environments, the Tron SART20 complies with IMO, SOLAS and GMDSS requirements and is MED and FCC approved.
Together with the Tron AIS-SART, the Tron SART20 can be used as a search and rescue locating device in accordance with IMO SOLAS requirements, giving shipowners flexibility when selecting their required GMDSS equipment.
