The Tron SA20 Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is a compact and rugged personal emergency beacon designed for both maritime and land-based use, providing global distress alerting through the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system.
When activated, the Tron SA20 transmits on 406 MHz, while integrated GNSS (GPS, Galileo and GLONASS) helps determine your position. A 121.5 MHz homing signal assists search and rescue teams in locating the beacon.
Return Link Service (RLS) provides confirmation that the distress alert has been received and the location determined. Integrated NFC enables easy status readout using a compatible smartphone.
With an 11-year battery lifetime, LED and IR-LED flash, and a compact, rugged design, the Cospas-Sarsat approved Tron SA20 is built to provide reliable personal safety when it matters most.
