Tron 40AIS with float-free bracket

Information

The Tron 40AIS is an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) designed to enhance safety and support efficient search and rescue operations at sea. Compliant with IMO and SOLAS requirements, the Tron 40AIS combines proven 406 MHz distress alerting with AIS technology, helping nearby vessels and rescue teams locate the beacon during an emergency. For improved visibility during search and rescue operations, the EPIRB features an infrared LED (IR LED), supporting detection with night-vision equipment in darkness and low-visibility conditions. The Tron 40AIS also supports the Galileo Return Link Service (RLS), which can provide confirmation that the distress alert has been received through the satellite system. Designed for reliable performance in demanding maritime environments, the Tron 40AIS complies with IEC 61097-2 Ed.4 and is MED, MER (UK), FCC and IC approved.
